Yet another attempt at a personal blog

This is not the first time I created a blog, and I actually managed to import some content from my previous blog into this one.

Don't try to find that one, it is gone. Although I do wonder if the internet archive saved it.

You're here, maybe you're reading this because it's the only content on the site. You can only hope I will not find the motivation to add more.

Maybe there is more content on the site, and you came upon it following someone's guidance, perhaps a link? You must have realised already, despite what you previously thought of them: that person is your enemy.

Some urge -perhaps the need for self harm- compelled you to explore further... and here you are.

I will not apologise. I will however offer this:

It is a pdf of AI generated pictures of heavy machinery. Print it out and give it as a gift to a little boy who you care about. Perhaps they will find joy in applying their coloured pens to it, and it will redeem you in their eyes.

• This web site runs on the not-particularly-popular Ghost CMS. I am a big fan of it because it is easy to manage and the authoring tools are great without being wordpress
• I use Opalstack for hosting, the primary driver is inertia: I was on webfaction before and I was happy with it, and when it evaporated Opalstack was the most-similar-option to jump to. Event though I am entirely qualified to set up my own service on a VM or whatever... this is just easy.
• I used the islandic .is DNS registrar: https://www.isnic.is/en to register filiot.is
• I manage my DNS using MS Azure's DNS Zones
